1998, Mitchell Vickers claims the title as the division heads to the 5/8th mile oval.
1999, Michael Mitchell claims the 1999 title driving the #04 entry.
2000, Derrick Johnson driving the #7 claims the title for the year.
2001, Beau Mitchell from Kentucky claims the championship at the end of the Dover lease.
2002, Eddie Taylor champion for divison as track transforms to Fairgrounds Speedway at Nashville.
2003, Steve Knight, #43 claims the Grand National title as the track changes direction for 2004.
2004, Derrick Johnson claims his second championship in the divison, Johnson becomes the first two time champion.
2005, Daniel Victory as a rookie claimed the title for his first Fairgrounds championship. Winning as a rookie is nothing new for Victory. He claimed the 2007 NASCAR SuperTruck championship as a rookie contender.
2006, Mark Stegall claimed the track title for the division. The Rockvale, TN driver along with his father, Dick Stegall showed the fans a lot of good battles for the title.
2007, Michael House, DOMINANCE is the word to describe the 2007 title winner. Driving the Bobby Hamilton, Jr., sponsored #84, House made claim to the title from the very beginning of the season.

Daniel Victory won the 2005 GNS Championship (as a rookie) and Derrick Johnson only won the Championship twice (2000 and 2004).

Record book is correct the program list I was looking at was wrong. But was corrected the following year. My apology for the error. That is why a lot of this is being put on here to get opinions and if so to get corrected.
One question I get is for example: Skip McCord won the Southern 300 last year and not listed on the wins for Late Model. The all-time winners list from day one at Nashville (1958) only included POINTS awarded wins. The 125 events that Uncle Bob had before the All American 400 was events that did not award points.
Thanks for the input. Lets keep the spirit and history alive.
